Originally formed by Allister & Russell Cook, Cook Brothers Drainage serviced the farm drainage needs of the farming community around Stratford from 1949 to 1983. In the spring of that year, Allister's sons, Howard & Stephen, bought in and continued on as H & S Cook Farm Drainage. In 1994, Stephen left the business and Howard Cook Drainage, now owned by Howard and Mary Anne Cook, has continued to build a history of customer satisfaction to the present day.
With over 68 years of combined experience, Howard Cook Drainage is ready to assist customers with a variety of soil and water problems. Along with drainage systems, past projects include ponds, grassed waterways, berms, septic & on-site sewage treatment systems, sportsfield construction, wet basement remedies, GPS surveys, ditch cleanout and many more. With laser grade control, we assisted in the building of the soccer park beside the 401 at Cambridge, the University football field in Waterloo and the sports fields at SERC in Stratford.
As technology has changed, so have we. Now all drainage systems are installed and recorded using GPS with state of the art equipment. Our septic business has evolved with the many changes to the building code and environmental regulations, and the treatment technologies that followed.
We are licensed in Ontario to install drainage systems, erosion control systems and septic systems. We are members of the Land Improvement Contractors of Ontario and the Ontario Onsite Wastewater Association.
Call us if you need a farm drained, an erosion problem solved, a septic system installed or any excavating or bulldozing done.
